This coin with frozen year 1943 was restruck in 1951, few years after Ceylon independence in 1948. The Mint figures above from Royal Mint Report. The 7.0M mint number in 1951 is from Sallay's unpublished records from the Board meeting minutes of the Central Bank of Ceylon.
It is not included in the total of year 1943 of 14,000,000 given by Robert Harris(1970). Remick(1968) seems to have copied Pridmore(1961) addition error. .

The coin was scaned at 300dpi and the images are displayed at 300dpi.
