Obverse : IIII above the VOC monogram with the foot slightly between the arms of the V, in beaded circle.

Reverse : Arabic inscription in the name of Sultan Abdulla in 3 lines within in beaded circle.

This specimen does not have the PA_ as seen in the specimen shown in Scholten.
Is it a different type, or a contemporary forgery as it is also 13% under weight.

I thank Rudi Boekel who kindly sent me over 1200 dpi photographs of this rare VG coin from his collection, which were reduced to 600 dpi and displayed at 250 dpi
