The Svastika which is an auspicious symbol in the east is most often depicted rotating to right side unlike in this Lakshmi Plaque. However in both cases the vertical sides and horizontal top and bottom. This is unlike the 45 degree rotated Svastika revolving left adopted by the Nazi party in an attempt to relate to an Aryan past.

The coin was scanned at 300dpi and displayed at 200dpi. It was obtained in 2000 August from Rajah Wickremesinhe an Author and collector in Colombo, Lanka.
