for by ware during circulation and the probable light shaving of the

The coins were cleaned lightly with with 15% Solution of citric Acid
to expose detail. Removal of corrosion left a copper stain because of
over 40% copper in composition.
Coins were scanned at 600dpi and displayed at 300dpi.
The 7 coins were obtained in 2010 September from a Lankan Dealer as
part of a small hoard of silver (1600-1669) coins which also included
9 Doubbeltjes coins from Zeeland,
a Doubbeltjes coin from Holland with french countermark,
a Roosschelling coin of Holland and
a Portuguese Double Tanga GA-DS coin.
The hoard is claimed to have been with a Lankan family for many generations.
